Does it count if I flex to Rein?
Because I’ve almost stopped entirely flexing to him, even in a QP environment. He hasn’t been that fun for me. It just feels like I’m useless when I play him now, even if I wasn’t the best Rein. I just feel like he gets melted, even his 2k shield dies fast.

I will never stop playing Rein. He will always be my main even if this isn’t his meta. It doesn’t even really matter around gold/plat where I am. I still can crush people with Rein. I just got to play more Orisa or Hog sometimes, but variety is good.
Nope. Not right now. I’ve pretty much dropped him this season to play Hog, Ball, and Orisa.
I love Reinhardt as a character/hero, but I know when a hero is dominated by the meta picks; and right now he is BADLY dominated.
I have hundreds of hours on him; my winrate with him this season is 43%
Compare that to the other tanks that are sitting at about 60%+ winrates.
I just can’t take space with Rein, even with Lucio it’s a terrible struggle.

If I don’t have a Dva or a Zarya and two healers, I’m not touching Rein with a 10 foot pole.
Even then, you might be in hell:
Main tanks, all of them, need CC resistance asap.

i mean, the job of playing him is hard but he’s hot so i continue to play him anyway. That lieutenant skin tho… 
though buffing him and winston with some sort of knockback resistance would be fun. dare i say make his charge unmoveable or have him plant his feet when in barrier mode

I played a match yesterday in Illios Well as Reinhardt in Competitive and after having gotten stunned and slept 20 times and booped into the Well by the same damn Lucio another 5 times I literally got filled with feeling so atrociously bad I can’t even decide.
If it wasn’t in Competitive, where we somehow won even though my teammates were playing 5 kilometers from each other and 80% of the time I was travelling from spawn), I would had left that game immediately and re - questioned my life decisions…
he was a must pick for 15 months.
either people burned out or they’re mad he isn’t a must pick anymore and cant seamlessly fit into every comp.
I have a rein account, and yes it is fun. Especially when there is an enemy rein, I don’t even care about winning then, I just want to block his shatter and get a six-man.

Reinhardt is the Bastion of tanking and has been for a long time.

Rein was never about fun, it was always about Anger Management and yes he still works for that.
Not really. Maybe I’m just bored of him, or remembering things differently. But nowadays, he’s only really enjoyable to me if I have a Zarya and an Ana, since that increases his survivability a lot and allows him to actually use his kit. Without those two, seems like doing anything other than being blue rectangle man gets him shredded. I never seem to recall him being so intolerable years back. There’s just a lot more damage and CC being thrown around than before I guess.
