Is orisa now the lowest skill hero in the game?

I’d say once you get the rhythm of cycling the CDs she is just a rinse and repeat and never die because of all the mitigation she has and the heals.

In low ranks Orisas just charge into the middle of the enemy team and just won’t die. Skill issue of course, but she is easier to play than even mercy or moira now and gets 10x the value without pretty much any skill after playing her for 5 minutes.

Ugh, and most of the players who are orisa onetricks think they are the stuff and so toxic.

Moira.

She has been by far the easiest hero to perform well on ever since she came out.

I don’t think orisa is very difficult, but hitting most spears and primary fire is much harder then moira aim requirements.

The same can be said for many of the tank heroes, really.

That’s because in low ranks, enemy players don’t know how to deal with her, and panic. Pretty much like they do when facing a skilled doomfist or wreckingball or Dva and Zarya.

That’s a bold claim. It’s all about cooldown management, like with any hero in this game. Orisa can be countered, you just need to know how, and which hero to do it with. Orisa for example can’t deflect Zarya’s beam weapon, and if an Orisa player keeps firing at her shield, it’s pretty much suicide.

Yeah, Moira players just aim in the general direction of a player and her toxic beam just attaches on to them. Not really a hero i’d consider a high-skill hero.

Orisa’s spear require actual aim, same with her main weapon. Her ult isn’t all that either to be honest, and now that fortify got tuned back, yeah… I don’t understand the constant whining on this forum, really…

I think she is the strongest tank, her and ramattra. And with supports healing her she can feel unkillable, but I was only speaking about skill required.

No, because she requires aim and aim will always be the last element people learn to use well. Playing smart and sticking to a few basic principles is always very easy to pick up and quick to exercise.

one of the reason i love playing moira is because i dont have to concentrate on aiming. just position, game sense and trying to flank stuff. ana is the support where you have to worry about flankers, landing all your shots and your position so you dont die. moira has a get out jail free card

not saying they should delete moira tho i think its cool to have easy to use heroes since the game is a hero shooter not counter-strike/valorant or call of duty. although call of duty is more arcadey then most shooters

Not true, maybe you meant to say some or most.

It’s easy to say that we want some heroes to be easy etc, but this is in essence a competitive game, and competitive games need to be balanced towards a middle ground, not towards the bottom ranks nor the top 500 players.

In their general direction means towards them, but not directly at them.

that is unfortunate in my opinion. game went full hardcore e-sport right away when it should have just been a casual hero shooter to begin with. still if that is there goal then might as well just streamline everything to be more mirror-like

A good moira player knows her environment and will use walls to great effect. Got what you are saying though.

Moira, Orisa, sym and torb.

Now you’re talking about her orbs, which is true, you always need to use the walls to get the most out of her, but her toxic BEAM is another thing entirely.

That’s because it was always supposed to be an E-sports game. However, the majority aren’t ‘pro players’, far from it.

Y’all are legit just looking for reasons to hate on Orisa because she’s overtuned atm. Go touch some grass and remember that anything can be OP in low ranks.

Her toxic beam is how she recharges to get good orb deployment. Balance is her key.

Toxic beam has nothing to do with the placement of her orbs, though…

How does she have the ability to cast orbs? She needs to do dmg. I get where you are coming from. There are good and bad Moira’s. Your post suggests she always fires forward, not always the case, she will often aim backwards to get those flankers dps and tanks have missed.
