She does have an ingame voiceline stating something along the lines of not liking getting on the front lines…but I imagine as Blackwatch’s only medic and the hush high nature of this mission Gabe didn’t give her much choice. Plus this is the mission that allows the world to find out she’s employed by Blackwatch according to her Bio
