Someone once told me that if you really want something, you have to keep asking for it…even if they say “no” a million times…ask a million and one times. We cannot give up the fight to return the Mercy we all know. I don’t even care if it means nerfing her, i just want to ress my team mates again.

Lol doesn’t matter to me if they add it or not… It’ll just mean Zen’s Ultimate will not be needed and it’ll be replaced with a moira or ana. Since a mas res will cancel out most mass killing ults.
I really wanna see a real live mass res in game, I wasn’t around when she had it unfortunately. I may add her back into my hero pool if she gets it back

It’s a game breaking Ult and people hated it with the passion. Then they took her mass res away and gave her individual res… People still complained and said it’s broken… Then they made res cast slow and only once every 30sec… They still complain about it…
LOL.
Obviously what the people want is Enemy Mass res!

Mercy’s official blizz info screen doesn’t include ability previews like the rest of the heroes, as though Blizz is planning on changing it anyways.
One of Mass Rez Mercy’s hardest counters, Sombra, is getting buffs to make her more consistent and reliable while at the same time, the new hero Hammond has an ult that would hard counter mass rez.
The forums have been much more lenient about Mercy threads on the front page, instead of redirecting them all to the megathread as soon as they pop up.
During a “livestream with devs”, seagull went fishing for info on Mercy (hoping for a hint that she would get nerfed). Instead of giving an actual answer, Geoff became very cagey like he does on topics that are relevant to the devs at the time.

So they said about LFG, Deathmatch or Avoid a player. Oh, would you look at that… all of them are in the game now. “They said it’s final” doesn’t mean anything apart from “right now we don’t think we’ll do it”. And they said it several seasons ago and before the subsequent 8 nerfs to Mercy while apparently, she still dominates everything.
A lot has changed since then.

I got instant rez for maybe a week or two before it got nerfed xD it still sounds fun and feels like more of an ult than Valk

Sombra was also a good counter to Shield Generator and Teleporter but neither are likely to return as ults.
The devs aren’t the ones moving the threads around and closing them.
It honestly sounded like he meant that he didn’t think Mercy needed a nerf. It sounded like he was kinda laughing at it.
None of these are hints. They’re just speculation with little to no bassis.

It’s not very likely to return, but if it does, it would probably be heavily, heavily changed from what it once was 
As in, no more invulnerability and/or instant cast time.

You mean like D.va? That they decided shouldn’t be a bully tank and that she is doing way too much damage… only to put that back and add rocket launchers on top to make her a bully tank again.
