Im a casual player, but sometimes i feel my mouse speed is too fast for someone, but perfect for other characters. Feels like Zarya is better if its slower for tracking, but struggling with Winston or Doomfist with the same slow mouse movement.
Depends on how you play.
I have 0 unique heroes for sensitivity outside of adjusted zoom for heroes who zoom.
Your mileage may vary.
Fwiw I tend to prefer a low mouse setting with a big mouse pad area. I find having a consistent mouse speed helps me swap heroes without having to use a different set of muscle memory.
I would say no becouse you lose consistency with it.
However if you still want to change it stick with only 2 sensitivities. A low one like 4 (800 dpi) and a fast one like 6 or 7(800 dpi).
I use a couple different settings for sensitivity, and like 3 unique ones for key bindings (Ana / Hog / Everyone Else). 800 dpi : Rein / Zarya / Winston / DVA it’s like 5.0 and for Genji / Tracer I think 4.0, everyone else is 3.5
I use the same speed on all.
It will be jarring having to adapt to new speed every time when I change a hero.
Maybe high precision aim heroes like widow can befit from it since you don’t have to do any dodging or looking around but not for most.
Honestly i just think about very slight changes, like 3.80 sens. to 3.60. These small changes can improve a lot in my experience. Will try it and see how it works!
I personally wouldn’t be able to stand different sensitivities.
I run Ana, Widow and Ashe at lower sensitivity and Tracer at higher. I wouldn’t mess much with others, there’s no need.
yes if you flex roles alot because some heros /roles play totally differently. pros tend to use 1 sens because they only play a narrow range of similar aim heros in 1 role.
For me? Nah.
Different games then sure but not with different heroes.
Although different scope sens is a different thing.
I don’t think so. I’ve found a good mid-range sensitivity I can use for both Rein and Ana and swapping would just make things weird. I’ve seen how bad it is when my mouse randomly forgets its settings, so I’d never want to do that voluntarily.
I’ll just say… once you start bothering with different mouse sensitivities for each hero, you really can’t consider yourself a casual player anymore.
I tried it once. And it backfired horribly.
Some people do well with this.
I do not.
I play almost all the heroes, and on the same sensitivity, that way at least I am used to judging distance in the game world without thinking.
I have higher sens for Winston and Rein, but that’s it. I would probably have a higher one for Genji, but outside of Mystery Heroes I never play him.
If you wanna git gud, then probably. I have a few of mine tweaked differently like my Zenyatta is almost like 100/100 or something like that but the rest of mine play a little lower
