A diamond friend of mine keeps saying that every game we play (done four so far), one enemy is an aimbot. Except one game, no aimbots. He said there is a pixel aimbot and memory one or something.
Probably not. Your diamond mate is looking for excuses for being bad I suppose.

That’s likely where they end up since most people buy a new account to do that sort if thing and they tend to place between silver and platinum. That said, most of these “Aimbotters” are likely smurfs.

It is hard to tell, unless the cheat looks obvious as ****.
Cause one thing about the killcam is that you are not seeing what the person see, you are seeing what the server see.
And also, low diamond and lower are filled with GM deranker, so yeah. Just a bunch of jerks ruining the fun for everyone.

How would you be in gold with an aim bot?
I’ve seen a few aimbots, but not very many compared to when I played CS:GO.
When I was climbing out of gold / plat I never ran into one, ever.
I’ve ran into a few smurfs, but it wasn’t as much as anyone on the forums claims that there are.
TBH in my entirety of playing overwatch I have only ever ran into 1 legit aimbot in QP and that was only last month 
It’s most likely he doesn’t know the signs to look for and assumes good aim = aimbot
I’ve said this before but the game isn’t very aim bot friendly due to so many shields, high healing and lack of over all one shot hit scan weapons. I’m sure we have bots out there but it’s no where near as big of a deal as in other games.
being the whole “muh SR” side of Overwatch is now pretty much a shell of what it was a few years ago. Why would someone bother to bot when you could just stack, go goats and run everyone over right now to get a higher SR?
A whole lot of player are barely even trying in comp anymore, never mind hard botting.
plus people have gotten very, very lazy about sight lines the last few months as we have not seen DPS friendly game play for, for a large chunk of time. It’s dive with D.va DM in your face (lol shoot, who cares) and then a huge munky with high health pool in your face (lol shoot, who cares). Rein rumbling along with a 2k+ shield and a Zarya bubble and again the same theme of shoot, no one cares.
every PC game has bots, it’s the nature of PC gaming to see it happen. I really doubt they are all over Overwatch being this game isn’t as popular anymore. Maybe 2 year ago I could see it, not so much now.

To be honest, I have only ran into 2 people EVER. That i KNEW for a fact that where hacking from a blatant aimbot PotG.

You don’t need game sense if you can pop the Phara or support almost every single time to get out of gold and you would be a god in bronze or sivler

I’ve seen maybe half a dozen aimbotters in the just over 18 months I’ve played the game on PC, you rise up the ranks pretty quickly when you never miss, so they don’t hang around plat very long.
Well, I blocked the idiot. Called me irritating yet screamed half of the match and basically calls one DPS each game a hacker, soooo, I think this settles my question

Some of the fellows i’ve been gaming with for about 10 years were recently banned. (I don’t cheat, never have never will.)
i was completely unaware of this up until they informed me. I then took the hard decision to dissociate myself from them. (Which was hard. Some were long time friends.)
I went and reviewed footage, and yea.
I see tell tell signs. Toggling the cheats when the round isn’t going their way. Low gold widow suddenly nailing headshot after headshot? …please.
Wallhacks are prominent too.
I can tell when people are tracing targets thru walls.
It doesn’t happen all the time but it’s real subtle when it does.
