It was likely that an MMR reset took place, and the fact that most people placed in gold shows how unreliable and inaccurate MM is. What if what we think is the normal ranking system is just as messed up as their claimed “bug”? How do we really know that the system is really placing people where they belong? If a team of diamonds plays a team a plat, are the diamonds really going to win most of the time? How do we know the people at the top are really the best?

Yep its literally the average where the largest chunk of the playerbase resides, platinum is smaller but still larger than every other rank but still slightly above the average

not really referring to league. league itself is fabricated in it’s own sense. like are they good just because they have a high rank and look like they play well? hmm doesn’t seem a very reliable measure to me…
