Is it possible to merge 2 pc accounts together?

So back in 2016 when OW1 came out I bought the special edition of the game for extra money and played OW1 till I got bored somewhere before Orisa was released(think that was somewhere in 2017).
So I stopped playing OW1 and stopped playing any blizzard games for a while.

A couple of years forward I started playing WoW classic but I had no idea that I still had a blizzard account so I created a new one.
By that time I also switched from windows mail (live.nl account) to gmail so there was no problem in making the account.
So now I have 2 accounts , one with all the OW1 skins that I owned and one that I have made pretty good progress on and also here and there some skins.

Now I want to merge those accounts but blizzard being blizzard , after I contacted support they gave me the most generic answer back.
The worst part is that they gave me an answer on a question I did not even ask.
So we are now 3 weeks later still no answer because they need a week or more time to respond on questions.
I’ve read some contradicting messages about merging 2 pc accounts together so has anyone here an idea if Im wasting my time ?

Nope, it is only accounts on different platforms, which is a shame. I was hoping they would let the “great fusion” happen.

Hmmm that is really stupid , because merging 2 pc accounts together is basicly the same as merging any other account together.

I think the idea was for people who swapped from one platform to another, to be able to keep their stuff. Not people who bought multiple accounts on the same platform.

It’s not meant to benefit smurfs with multiple accounts on the same platform. It merges multiple platforms, and only one account on each. Console players can have unlimited smurfs, so it makes sense to limit it to just one account on each platform.

Ye I’m not using the account as smurf account , just forgot about it and wanted the acc 1 with most OW1 skins merged into the account that I use now , the account with OW2 progression on it.

I quess I go back playing on my old account than , what makes it ironically is a sort of smurf . Thank you for the replies!
