Is it possible to force the game to use 1920x1080 style resolution?

I know, the title is a little deceptive. Let me elaborate.

I use 1600x1200 on an ultrawide monitor. It stretches across my monitor. Even if I change my resolution to 1920x1080 in Nvidia control panel, it still does it. I’m trying to get Overwatch to think I’m using a regular monitor instead of an ultrawide so the game isn’t stretched across my monitor. I want blackbars on both sides of my game. (I know, it’s a weird thing to actually want. I’m just use to 1920x1080 and not an ultrawide.)

I know it’s a weird resolution, it’s just what I use.

I don’t think there’s support for ultrawide, as discussed here: Overwatch 2018 and Ultrawide monitor

so that might be what’s hindering it from doing what you want :frowning:

My question is basically asking if I can trick Overwatch into thinking I’m using a 1920x1080 monitor instead of a 21:9, producing black bars on both sides of my FOV with the game centered in my screen instead of stretched across.

I can do it with borderless window, but I think borderless window affects me in some way. I want to do it while full screen.
