Roadhog is the only tank I enjoy playing.
It’s not really ok to one-trick anybody. This game is mostly about adapting and team-building, which one-tricking inherently goes against.

probably not when the reaper/mei buffs and brig get introduced into comp, will definently weaken him.
but at least you one-trick a tank.
I feel like he probably works with most comps (dive, deathball) and works pretty well against those comps too (good aim with hooks punishes anyone in range, both his primary/secondary fires and his ult are great for trashing barriers)
Honestly most people would probably be happy enough just seeing someone pick a tank, any tank, that they won’t be asking you to switch
i one tricked him during season 5. Didnt have any problems or toxic people.
I used to one trick D.Va when I started playing, but that was really punishing, so I am, in general, a support and tank main now. Pharah and Junkrat if we already have those.
especially in bronze, i mean people should be jumping at the bit to have someone on their team that is always playing tank.

I’d generally discourage you from one-tricking, but if you’re going to one-trick a character, Roadhog is probably a decent one to choose.
You can do what you want. Just know you are potentially hurting yourself and your when someone else picks him.
I’d say pick at least 3 heroes (a dps, tank, and healer) to learn. Then you’ll almost always have someone to play. Ideally you should learn 2 of each so you’re guaranteed to be able to play one of them.

My dude, if it makes you happy do it…but expect it to make other people mad at times.
I’m doing it with Doomfist and it’s going beyond great. The only matches I ever lose recently is when I decide to Reinhardt…(Kinda funny how it works like that.)
Roadhog generallly isn’t a hero choice that f your team over, so it should be ok.
No there are times where the team needs a rein or more importantly a dva.

I had fun. When teams ran rein and ana i became a happy hog. I managed to climb to top 76 hog with him.
I one trick him in comp just fine unless someone else locks him, then I just play Mercy, I don’t think most people will care (I’ve never gotten any complaints) but it’s good to have a backup hero just in case someone else picks them first.

I used to have a problem with Anas. Never use heal when she is nearby she will just nade you. And if you do manage to get her off guard.
Shoot right click or left click depending on situation, hook, shoot, melee. That should make her dead.
