Sure I can fly around and get elims easily, but in the end we still lose most game that I personally have played as junk. Could it be a thing in metal ranks where so many elims are happening that everyone else relaxes, stop trying as hard, and we end up losing?
It’s also cause other heroes are stupid op cause they needlessly got buffed when they were fine before
Like did we really want sojourn and soldier and tracer meta again? They weren’t even bad before this. Non hitscan like sym mei junk etc got shafted. Pharah imo would’ve sucked too without the rework

Yes I think that would be better than a Sym, Torb, Bastion, Junkrat or Mei meta
The dps passive is irrelevant on him unless the devs buff him to Spam meta junkrat where he fired faster to hit more consistent.
Bigger bullet sizes make his ult weak where you can only go for a single target to get a consistent elim.
Junkrat can work in certain map positions but he’s now a DPS you switch off of the enemy is playing at a pace you and your team can’t keep up with.
junkrat is super useless and the worst part is that everyone that doesn’t play him are pretty happy about it. Always simultaneously considered a low-skilled floor AND ceiling hero that alot of metal ranks considered “as oppresive as widow one shot.”

I played 1000 hours on dps doom only for them to take him away
now they’ve dumpstered my 2nd most played character which is rat with about 500hours… I genuinely never have been in this position where a company consistently takes away the characters i invest time in with no reprucussions. Its wild.

You guys always complain about a hitscan meta but what’s the alternative? If we overbuff any of those heroes to be competitive you get stuff like Bastion in season 6
The alternative is last season where every hero was at least playable. Not this garbage ez aim patch you guys love so much.
Wouldn’t be asking for buffs if they didn’t f up this entire patch to cater to bronze can’t aim players. No, you’re not good this season by playing soldier, soj, or tracer etc. it’s all boosted bs

Cool. Sym, junk, and mei were just fine last season and were far from op. At best below average.
Now they’re just unusable which is stupid. This patch did nothing but make things worse.
No one is asking for them to be meta if you can read. Just to be usable again. Which since they are in this video game they should be.

You have to play him in a very safe and monotonous way, and even then, he’s just outclassed. It’s pretty bad.
Um, Torb is pretty good? As far as I can tell. Last patch was pretty balanced regarding those heroes. Junkrat hasn’t been meta for a loong time, so kinda weird you even mention him.

He is good if you are countering dive, but due to the projectile buffs his head is a watermelon… ripe for crit storms so his shot gun game is sketchy if people can aim.
His poke game is soo outclassed its not even funny, when zen/ana/illari can snipe you along side hitscan/sojourn… its sad… then due to his body being so wide when the game is desync you are more likely to get shot in the head with a random bullet as you jig peak…

Junkrat is in an awful spot. Even the perennial top 500 Junkrat players are struggling to reach GM.
The problem is that his high level play is centered around the mine/grenade combo which doesn’t work anymore. And Blizzard is hard committed to keeping quick kill combos to a minimum. They aren’t going bring it back. Junkrat needs some new tech to be added to his kit so he can be played at top level again.
