Like Kiriko’s voicelines, does LW’s lines seem…“off?”
Like maybe he could push delivery a bit more or have my expectations of his character archetype been saturated by characters from Anime and other Videogames? Like Marluxia from Kingdom Hearts series?
He feels a little uncanny and creepy to be around. Maybe its just his voice and the line of his deliveries that i can’t blame the voice actor for.

Usually it is not the VA’s fault for bad delivery. The Director should guide them to give the best delivery the Actor is capable of and I know LW’s actor can pull it off.
Maybe they just went with what they had to meet the deadline?

I know what you mean.
I was saying the same thing to my partner. His voice is fine, but it feels like it isn’t on the same level as the rest of the cast. Or something. There’s just something about it lol
Might be the mixing ? I’m not sure.

He doesn’t look or sound like a character that Blizzard created. Feels like a focus tested character that only exists to tick a box.
Yea it seems like he needed a bit more time in the kiln, more polish for quality purposes and refining his kit so it isn’t so janky
