I’ve noticed I have a pretty good time in most of my games unless someone is on hazard then the game immedietly feels like a chore.
He’s new, you gotta learn how to fight him as each character you play
I don’t think it’s a matter of learning how to play, I think most people will agree mei wall is an annoying abillity to play around but mei kinda suck so she needs it. Why did they give a better mei wall to a tank? Mauga was less annoying on release.
What makes it better? It has travel time and doesn’t block as much space
The one skill of his that genuinely needs to be nerfed is his thornblock thing. It’s obnoxious.
Not how much damage he reduces, just how he outputs a sh/ ton of damage by being in close proximity.
I think he’s very fun to play, but very unfun to play against. he’s just a jack of all trades character, but to be honest, nothing feels weak to support the jack of all trades approach. He can block and counter-damage to close enemies, ice wall that damages anyone close to it, can jump and climb over walls. His ultimate is the biggest AOE in the game to my knowledge and locks everyone in place with damage.
Yes, but he does have every tool in his kit to deal with almost every situation. That makes him hard to counter and makes me question why I would play any other tank right now.
just you, he is easy to beat. You need the right character, skill, and you need to know when to just leave him alone. when he block’s you which the power where he shoots out all those things from his back, leave. he is not so hard just get used to him and it’s going to be like fighting somebody who doesn’t even know what they’re doing, it takes some time but its ez
Maybe its just me but i feel like hes still to weak. Hes essentially doomfist without the self healing/overhealth so he easily overextends and get out of LoS of his supports. The range on thorn volley is pretty short and only mitigates dmg for one direction so unless he catches someone seperated from team its easy to kill him with most normal doom counters.
It causes damage on contact and can boop people, but being not as wide as mei’s wall, I think it’s a somewhat fair trade off.
Also less total health to get it off the field emtirely too
He 100% is. Highly mobile, 2 sources of CC, on demand damage reduction and great burst damage make him without a doubt the best 1v1 char in the game.
His high mobility makes it a struggle to get away from sometimes. Just obnoxious if anything
He makes playing Lucio less fun. That’s the only thing I noticed from Bowser. I can see why Mario beats him every time. Mild inconvenience the character is not even on my radar.
I thought thornblock did 70 DPS. That’s in the ballpark of Winston’s zap and Moira’s noodle.
It bounces off of barriers, which can be an important distinction between it and Mei’s. It also means there’s more counterplay.
I can’t remember whether it can be eaten by DMs when it’s still mid-flight. If it can, then put that down as another important drawback.
Bowser wrecks Mario at the beginning of Odyssey. Mario’s nothing without you guiding him, ThiccBuddha.
Don’t get me started on Super Paper Mario, he gets slapped around in that game
I think I’m just so tired of super tanks in 5v5. Hate to sound like Samito here, but I can’t wait to see how modern 6v6 feels. Hazard is so boring to shoot at.
Mauga is Bastion as a tank. Hazard is Mei as a tank. Is Sigma just Symmetra as a tank?

Doomfist has a rhythm and there is gaps where you can attack him. Hazzard feels just so broken. Everything he does hav an attack. Block and he shoots his thorns. As a support it just feel futile to do anything against him. DF is just easier to run away from…
