Every match now, hopping Illidari’s seem to be doing far better then the Hanzos, Widows, and Anas on team. No aiming; point in the enemy team direction and you’re gonna get hits. How can hopping up and down score hits? Why do they do nearly as much if not more damage then actual snipers?
Well generally if the question is “Why do Supports and Tanks play like it’s an FPS game”.
Because it’s an FPS game.

Because more people should play support. That’s it. Also, she can’t one-shot anyone.

A lot of it is that people don’t respect an Illari like they do those other heroes, so she gets more opportunities

Because if I play Widowmaker, and I hit someone with a headshot, I do 250 damage and they’re dead
If I play Illari, I do 112.5 damage for a headshot; The enemy team heals the person I am shooting at for 100hp; Now I have to do another headshot to undo that healing, now I have done 225 damage; They get 100 hp healed again; I land another headshot; I have done 337.5 damage and my target isn’t dead
See how that works?

Snipers don’t do a lot of actual DPS, they have really strong break points paired with rather low fire rates. With maybe a cooldown or some mobility to help make up for the down time.

Because Aimbot Dps players all still running support with their bots trying to get support nerfed again as if it was not bad enough, Illari Bap Zen every game and always 2 tapping.

How did demon hunters get into OverWatch? Also doubt they make good snipers because they’re blind.

I encourage you to actually play the hero for several hours. I think you’ll quickly learn that it’s not as easy as you think, and those other players simply outperformed your team.
I’ve seen some crazy conspiracy theories in the forums but this one’s a doozy for the ages.

My advice about perceived OP heroes is always “Why don’t you just play the OP hero and reap the rewards of free SR?”

ive been playing a lot of illari the past few seasons, i think the illari vs widow matchup actually heavily favors the illari its super easy to headshot and ji9gle peak a widow and 2-3 shot her, but for the others i think theyre pretty even in terms of how much damage theyre capable of hanzo only doing more from storm arrows and getting more benefit from damage boosts, and ana having more valuable cooldowns but less movement, illari has replaced my cassidy entirely because i hate mag nade so much and her similar gunplay is just as fun, id say she has slightly less damage output than most dps and also has to heal sometimes making her do less damage
