Is GMEC1 aka dubai server down?

I just got into comp with my friends and we keep getting queued in ams1 or cdg1 servers which is Amsterdam and France/Paris server respectively.

The funny part is, none of us is from Europe, we are all from middle east and we are getting extremely high ping around 150 - 170 ms. This is ruining the fun coz we can’t even play normally and QP isn’t even fun at high ping.

In dubai server, we normally get 20 - 60 ping. I went to custom games and the dubai server option is not there anymore.

Did the servers just vanish or went down?

Same … i cant join the middle east server anymore…

It’s available for regular games, but not custom. They’ll add it back in for custom games in the future.

I understand that but when 4 people in a group are from middle east then why are we being queued in europe servers instead of dubai one? It makes no sense.

Blizzard looked into this already. It’s a small set of players landing on EU due to ISP routing issues.

Any ETA on when the routing issue will be sorted out?

Blizzard has no hand in the routing issue, it’s up to the ISP to sort it out.
