It means it’s only abusive chat to those who take offense to it. People will say ezpz even when it was 1-1 on King of the Hill with both teams at 99% near the end. It’s not abusive chat. If you do take offense to it, simply block them and move on.

I’d say it’s considered as spam.
Nobody wants or likes to see it in chat.
I don’t understand why some people take offence to it though.

It means it’s the internet. Normally functioning people aren’t phased by people sarcastically saying, “good game. easy.”
Something that’s abusive chat is a racist comment. Or a death threat. Or talking about illegal activities in general, like self-harm. Saying “easy” to someone doesn’t come remotely close to someone saying actually abusive things in chat.
Next, they’ll say, “saying gg in chat is abusive.”

The easiest answer is that it in a lot of cases its a subjective answer. If you find it abusive go ahead and report it as such. The way the system works is that they will only get silenced if enough people report them and if enough people are finding someone’s chat abusive then they are probably best not in it anyway so my advice is just trust your gut and let others trust theirs

It’s an insult- plain and simple.
And if you’re going to take the time to type it, I’m going to take the time to report it.
It’s not that I’m genuinely upset or mad.
I’m just reporting a bad behavior, and to be entirely honest- don’t give it much more thought past that.
However- I do absolutely love when I see people cry about how these “delicate snow flakes” cried and got them in trouble.
If you can’t handle the repercussions of being a jerk-
Maybe don’t be a jerk in the first place.

Developers have acknowledged it and just censored gg ez with funny sentences because they didn’t care too much.
I mean if you feel hurt by a few pixels on your screen then okay.
Not saying that’s your fault though no need to take it personal.
Well if you take it personal then report it of course, but in the other hand in my opinion i think it’s not a bad thing really.
People who are easily influenced by words
It’s an insult and can be reported, and people have come here and complained about getting banned for it. I wouldn’t personally report for it if I played PC, but also don’t have sympathy for those that complain about getting reported. Because it’s very obviously an insult and so none should be surprised when they get in trouble for breaking the rules about insults.
