Maybe in Overwatch 1, it was decent. But in Overwatch 2? Sometimes, it gets deleted before it even reaches a wall.
It only has 1000 hp. With a crit box. It doesn’t move, you can stun it, sleep it, hack it for the full duration.
Reminder Torb’s turret does have 250hp, no crit box and it’s not possible to boop it or sleep it. And on top of that, it charges Torb’s ult. Torb’s turret is unironically better than bob. Let that sink in.
If those 3 people do not move. More often than not, you’re lucky to get one kill and not die in the process.
It’s mostly used to tank stuff that would kill you or reload your gun. An ultimate you use to reload your gun. Let that sink in.
People can just walk away from it. More often than not, it doesn’t get a kill.
People usually don’t play that grouped up.
More often than not, Reaper does die during his ult.
On top of that, Reaper is extremely easy to read. You know when he’s planning on using his ult. So it’s very easy to react to it.
It doesn’t crit, though. You have to aim at their head during your ult, when the UI during the ult is super obnoxious and makes it 10 times harder to aim.
So overall, you could spend a game without popping your ult and no one would even notice. Not a great ultimate.
If you stick it, you’ll get one kill. But that’s kind of it, it’s not amazing. If you don’t stick it, it’s not going to kill anyone, unless you recall into it.
It’s meh.
Sometimes, it gets a kill. But more often than not, it just damages someone and doesn’t kill them.
Sure.
But it doesn’t do much on its own. It’s easy to counter.
