Is Doomfist one of the easiest heroes in the game right now?

And other people neglect that they have to intagrate their movement with their dps to get any value out of the character at all.

They have to do two things at once for them to ever be good at their char. That only includes the mechanix of the character itself, it doesn’t even include that they also have to be aware of everything around them or they will be instantly killed.

Which is kinda funny since all 3 have to be in the thick of things to get that value.

Doomfist wasn’t “easy” to play even when he was on the PTR and had a way bigger hitbox for rocket punch. In fact, he’s one of the harder heroes in the game.

Hammond can’t actually shoot in ball form.

But anyway, what does that mean in practice?

With Lucio you jump around like a frog after a caffeine pill and spam your over sized projectiles, while you boop and melee from time to time.

With Doomfist you stun somebody, then while they can’t dodge you spam them with your shotgun.

And with Hammond you speed up, sometimes knock people around, then ground pound them.

Being in the thick of everything isn’t a great achievement, when you have more than sufficient abilities to make it easy.
Playing around those abilities is a lot harder.

Have you ever played him? I’d agree right click is cheesy but a good Doomfist only gets maybe 40% kills with it and uses it mostly for mobility. E and Shift combos are the heart of his kit and he requires a brain to play. If you want to say “easiest”, widow maker is one of the most, if not THE most brain dead hero in the game and mechanically I’d day Mercy is the easiest since the majority of her play style is through game sense.

Hammond has a full range of motion when he’s hooked and angles means everything to him. Just because you hooked the exact same statue does not mean you will swing into that gap like you did last time because you were 2-5 meters in the opposite direction when yo u did it and then didn’t move properly as you swing.

He then has to aim like a mother if he hopes to secure that pick after he exists ball mode before his giant hitbox is erased from the point.

Lucio can easily get caught on d surfaces or surfaces he didn’t intend to land on or even miss his jumps. His projectile may be larger then most but it is one of the slowest in game. It is super hard to land. Booping in melee for the sake of booping can easily get you killed as you need to be close to do it.

Doomfist only stuns with his RP

their abilities don’t make it “easy” they make it possible.

Df in my opinion is the hardest hero to play. Every beast doomfist I played against had at least 50+ hours on him. Don’t even compare him to brig and mercy.
You know the argument that says: if you think a hero is op why don’t you try playing him?
Unlike brig, doomfist basses easily. 10+ hours on him and I feel like I’m only feeding. While 5 minutes of brig convinced me more that she is broken. (I played her for 3 hours so don’t even ask me to play her more)

I got used to Hamster in a couple games, he isn’t terribly difficult to control. I’m not going to spend a bunch of time looking for trick shots, as I already can get to wherever I want to.
At least he is hitscan, which is nice.

Lucio on the other hand is pretty spammy…

No. Definitely not the easiest.

But he’s the worst designed hero in this game. :stuck_out_tongue:

Have you played Doomfist? It’s still not easy. It’s very hard on certain maps, too.

Double facepalm.

Just Rocket Punch and get free, auto-aim, un-counterable instakills 4head. So easy that Doomfist is the highest pick in Bronze. It’s almost as easy as one-clipping with Tracer.

For whom? Beginners who have never played a game on PC? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

You must live in an illusion! DF is the easiest flanker in the game. Maybe it will take a while to play him perfectly. But so long as you aren’t a newbie in OW you already have a big impact only with smashing your buttons without any idea what you’re doing right there.

Easy? Depends on which ability.

Too much value out of his abilities? Yes, very much.

Sure it’s easy.
After 10 or 15 hours learning combos / tricks / rollouts on every maps.

It’s not needed to learn tricks or rollouts to be effective with Doomfist right now - once you know the very basics of controlling him you can be impactful. Even at GM you can get by without knowing a single rollout.

You need to make a Video of your games for us like what Chipsa and Brandito does.

We need to learn from people who can use the character easily and no I’m not trolling, anybody who can perform at a high level needs to share for the rest of us to learn from.

far from it… he’s one of the hardest to get good with and requires good map knowledge and good use of cooldowns.

Funny how he was considered high skilled for having so many bugs so much that people claim he is op now that he has some consistency to him

I have a couple of clips up on YouTube of me playing him, but I’d recommend watching vods like this:

It’s his first day playing fist I believe
