I feel like you would expect bronze to be the worst of the worst considering its the lowest rank, like it should have people that just started playing fps games and people who have really low skill, but I have noticed that a lot of people in bronze have proper skill and aim and positioning to some extent, and that doesn’t seem like what you would expect a bronze player to be like.
I think at season 3 or 4, devs mentionned actually bronze was the rank with the most players.
Keep in mind matchmaker doesn’t put 10 players with the same rank in a game, meaning you can encounter silver (or maybe gold) players.
Depending on the role you play, it might feel sweaty. Bronze asks you to press where it hurts and don’t rely too much on mates.
i.e. if there’s a Pharah facing you, don’t expect any player to switch and take care of her, do it yourself. If you’re above bronze worthy, it should work.
All of the ranks are getting better with time, and with more pay to win heroes to crutch, it only makes sense that people who are not keeping up are going to be left behind.
could be decayed players that turn it off once or twice and never bother to rank up, could be smurfs, could be your team sucking way more, could be you sucking
