I’m pretty sure Blizzard did some pre-loading the past week.
The reason why some people have smaller updates is because the PTR apparently already has the updates, and thus the redownload is not required.
Unfortunately though, that’s exclusive to PC. PC users without the PTR and Console players will have a larger update.
It’s supposedly a full reinstall but it can auto copy PTR files. They added this feature recently I noticed.
500MB for me but I didn’t see it copy the files this time.
Might have something to do with the background download that happened earlier last week.
For those who didnt do it would have to download more.
