A lot of people are waiting for this hero to stop dominating the support scene and are wanting to come back when she is no longer must pick. Mercy has made so many people quit this game lmao

Her rework has made it so she will always be strong. Until they rework or revert her, she will keep dominating, but blizzard doesnāt seem to like swallowing their pride.

nope the biggest issue is that mercy has rezz in general. its an ability that can never be balanced. apart from the start of the game when was that ability ever balanced.

If they remove rez it would count as a rework because theyād have to give her a new E ability in its place. So their statement stands still

they would not and unlike symmetra players. mercy players have numbers.

Actually I play a bit of Mercy (sheās my most played hero but i refuse to call myself a mercy main) and i think if they canāt make rez feel less frusterating to use they should consider giving her a new ability that instead prevents immediate death rather than brings someone back. Though I think they should try a revert first to see if it helps.

Mercy was underpicked before the rework, her ult was niche and balanced before invulnerability. As an ability, Rez will never be balanced. They messed up but wonāt fix her even though Jeff stated he would āBring her Backā.

rezz cant be balanced. even more so with the invulnerability or damage resistance.
simply because how would blizzard find balance where invulnerability would be seen fine at the top but not too strong for the rest.
Rework mercy, make rez into mass rez again, make valk into an e, yadda yadda yadda i need healing and some other jazz.
Theres a middle ground to be achieved with mass rez but with rez on e its truly impossible to balance.
Put los checks on rez and maybe some slight damage reduction and a small cast similar to lucios but a tad longer.
Mercy would then have valk on e as a new mid fight mobility tool and would allow for some neat skill expression with her ult and would let her position herself better without having to be fully reliant on her teammates 24/7 .
this in my mind is the best course of action and would allow for counterplay like mei walls, stuns,etc etc.
this way shes more powerful then pre-invuln mercy but more balanced then invuln mercy who was basically guaranteed the mass rez.
this should realistically be fairly balanced and allow for some niche heros to rise up and gain a use.
A revert isnāt an option but iāll settle for another rework.
but yea iād still like to see mass rez return to being an ult.

The life of the game is not depending on one character, not at all.
Sure some people left because Mercy, but a whole lot more left for other reasons.
The game itself has problems, not only with balance, but with many other things. Even if Mercy is fixed, sure some people will come back, but in reality, it would do little.
Not saying they shouldnāt fix her, (they should), but they also need to fix the game itself.

Itās not her ressurrect that causes an issue as much as it is her healing output and damage amp potential being flat out better than everyone elseās
she was only underpicked and niche at high masters and gm however the rest mercy was strong everywhere else. look at season 4 when ana got balanced.

Sheās not dominating support because sheās too powerful. But because other main healers are bad atm. Her rez isnt what makes her a must pick. Itās her consistent healing. Imagine 50hp in overtime as genji with blade. Ana can miss the shot and the game is lost. What about mercy? Can moira follow genji around with her short heal range or lack of super high mobility (as a short ranged healer)
