IP Address of GTK1 Tokyo Server?

I am reaching out from India, where I actively play Overwatch 2. Typically, I connect to servers in Singapore, which provides a playable experience with a ping of around 100 ms. However, recently, I’ve been getting matched to the GTK1 servers in Tokyo in my stadium games, resulting in a significant increase in ping to around 250 ms, making the game unplayable.

To mitigate this issue, I would like to request the IP addresses of the GTK1 servers. Having this information would allow me to manually block these servers and prevent being matched to them, thereby improving my overall gaming experience.

Could you please provide me with the IP addresses of the GTK1 servers? I would appreciate your assistance in this matter.

Blizzard does not provide the IP addresses for any of their game servers. Additionally, these IPs change regularly to protect against DDoS attacks.

You can add a suggestion for a server picker in General Discussion. Feedback isn’t collected in this P2P troubleshooting forum.

Also, in the past folks who actually blocked specific IP’s started to have problems with the game and some even started to get kicked from it. Most likely due how they recycle their IP. Due Google cloud servers somewhat rotate their address eventually led to folks block their own preffered servers because of it.

I would try look towards Google cloud services documentation or help if they work with geographically zones, but I wouldn’t bet my horse on it. Would easier to request region selector option but not sure if Blizzard itself would want that due not sure how their deal with Google were done towards dynamic allocation and allocation per region/zone.

Those kinds of deals can become really costly pretty fast if not managed properly or how they were made, due if they gauge things like MAUs for it and folks with several of them, can lead a really problematic solution for it.
