It’s in the controller settings to invert both horizontal and vertical so why can’t we do it in the mouse settings? I have a weird problem where I have to use a mouse upside down because of some kind of weird dyslexia when it comes to this. I have tried repeatedly to teach myself to use it the correct way but it’s just all backwards. I have a program on my computer that inverts the mouse for me and it works fine on the desktop, WoW, and even in the menu system of Overwatch but when the match starts it goes back to default for some reason. I’ve noticed that we can invert both on a controller but not a mouse. How hard can it be to add this?
That’s a pretty weird habit, but I’m someone who inverts x axis in games so I can understand your struggle (Bethesda never puts in x invert)
If inverting it works on other games and overwatch’s menu but not overwatch in game, then I think blitz should at least address why it doesn’t work.
Hold up. You turn the mouse upside down and then invert both X and Y? Wouldn’t that effectively be the same as using the mouse right side up with nothing inverted?
I’m just wondering how you push m1 and m2?
Maybe the simplest solution would be to get a modded mouse where the axis’s are inverted during the build. If there is no software option available.
I would look for a mouse software doing this, hopefully this doesn’t unfluence the mouse input to much
Inverting a input doesn’t sound that hard imho
Never tried it thought
You should probably ask about this in #technical-support instead, they might be able to help you find a solution.
I wouldn’t give good odds on your suggestion being adopted as a game feature, and if it was, I wouldn’t expect it to be implemented anytime soon. On the other hand, #technical-support might have you up and running before the day is over.
