The new season is only 2.5 weeks away, and while we’ve seen most of the new content already, the cosmetics still remain a mystery
Here is what we know concretely
A sojourn legendary skin comes with the PvE, and the more expensive bundle also comes with Legendary Kiriko and Cassidy skins
A new Brigitte skin (presumably legendary) is present during the footage of the gothenberg PvE mission (see https://www.youtube.com/live/qCXnzDf6Twg?feature=share&t=395)
The battlepass is called The “Null Sector Premium Battle Pass”
In an interview a developer confirmed that the season’s theme of “Overwatch Invasion” also applies to the battlepass cosmetics, and that many of the skins will be from or in homage to the events of the invasion storyline.
In terms of mythic, it’s likely a support hero since that role has the least mythics and has gone the longest without a new one. But keep in mind patterns like this never had much weight in Overwatch, they seem to just be giving the mythic to the hero it makes the most sense for each season so it could realistically be any hero with a close connection to the lore or null sector. I’d say Rammatra, zenyatta, and ana are all decent bets
Also notable there are only 4 heroes who didn’t get any battlepass skins yet. Brigitte, Torbjorn, Roadhog, Widowmaker
I have several hypotheses, all based on the fact that they treated season 3 as an Asian event (obviously those were all great skins for the lunar new year).
Mythic skin could be a support since we had 2 tanks, 2 dps and only one support previously. Most likely Zenyatta, mixing multiple interesting aspects like omnic. It would be great to see a null sector version of Zenyatta, himself being the face of omnica corp’s “standard models” robots. Maybe even a hilarious look where they give zenyatta a human face, as was often requested in the past.
Among legendary skins, I think Lifeweaver Vishkar is a very good guess. i mean the look visible in his origins video, that vishkar uniform is very nice for him.
-As an epic skin, I’m imagining a “basic version” of his omnic model for Ramattra. We can see the R-7000 units in genesis.
Another legendary skin for Sojourn… the Canadian uniform visible in the video origins and on the cover of the book;
There has always been the idea of giving Echo the appearance of Leonora Botruvio, the artisya visible in the Rialto poster, using the same method of Reinhardt interposing balderich. Or even Doomfist with the look of the first Doomfist. But maybe… is it too early to expand a lore in Rialto and Numbani?

I’d say we have multiple “archive options” available.
It’s not Archvies themed though it’s a Null Sector themed Battle Pass with an overall season theme of Invasion which is the CURRENT state of OW lore and timeline not the past
Yeah I’m thinking this is pretty likely. Pretty much any tank would look good as a null sector version. Also think torbjorn with a null sector style turret and weapons would be cool
Isn’t Overwatch World Cup a branch of Overwatch League as a whole like the Europa League is a bigger version of Champions League etc in Football (soccer)?
