Block of white text on a dark background… anyone else’s eyes burning?
Anyway… judging from your post it seems like your internet was at fault for you repeatedly leaving games. Blizzard is not at fault for this one, there is little they can do to accomodate for poor connections.
Yes, it really sucks when you want to indulge in a hobby but can’t because your financial situation does not allow for it. I have been there and it is horrible.
Now, as for your situation with your ISP: even if you pay for the cheapest package imaginable, it should not be dropping out all the time. Either the infrastructure is bad, or something is physically broken for it to be this bad.
You need to contact your ISP and tell them they need to come and do some work in your area. Because there is no way you are the only one being affected by this. What if you needed to work remotely? It would be impossible with an internet connection that bad.
I, myself, live in a rural area and have the cheapest package my ISP provides. And in an entire year it has dropped out TWICE. If my internet started dying as often as yours does I’d be having words with them.
In the meantime I would heavily suggest you don’t touch comp and stick to modes that only give time outs (like QP and arcade.) That way you don’t risk a permanent comp ban. Maybe even drop OW altogether until you can get things fixed (also don’t take any bull from your ISP, they need to come out to you.)
