Internet connection cutting in and out, but only on east coast servers

Starting just today, whenever I play Overwatch and get a game on east coast servers, my internet constantly cuts in and out, making everything teleport and delay itself, making the game unplayable. Whenever I open up the netgraph, i constantly see orange spikes and orange/white boxes near the top of the screen. However, whenever I play on west coast, the game runs perfectly fine, the white boxes still appear on the top when I open the net graph, but no internet issues, nothing cutting out or anything.

Can you please run a WinMTR test for your specific connection?

One of my friends also on the west coast is having the same issue, the exact same cut outs are happening to them also. On west coast they are disconnecting from games, but none of the stuttering and teleporting is happening unless they are on east servers. They have a different internet provider and live in a different state, so that makes it seem like a blizzard issue

Cox communications connection issues

I just got off the phone with a cox tech support about this issue, they said last night the servers were making it where people were unable to connect to battlenet etc. they tell me that Activision/Blizzard has to contact cox to get this resolved. so how do we get this resolved if blizzard has not done anything about their servers in several days concerning cox customers?
