Inter problem (5001)

For some reason I can’t send friend requests due to this internal problem since a month, I hope it get fixed asap.

I have this same issue. Custimer support literally told me to check out their article which says to head to friends > pending friend reqs > clear it out, but that isnt even an option.

Next they said to make a post on here and keep an eye out for announcements, meanwhile they also told me they read my messages to them like three times and immediately followed that up with something that proves they didnt.

The content of this gameplay is going down SO hard and it’s so sad. I loved this game so much…

I hope you find a fix soon x_x

the above reply is correct. if you guys have the battle.net app on desktop, you can check your sent friend requests and delete them. doing so will fix the issue and allow you to add more people. I tested it myself and it works.

absolutley zero pending requests everywhere and its still around. Might be a fix for some but definately not all.

This is still an issue today - I dont have many players on my friends list - but it still says 5001 internal error when ever i try to add a friend.

I figured it out if you need it. Go to battle net setting, then go to friends and chat then at the top it should say view sent friend requests. You have to do it individually which is a pain but that should fix it I hope.
