Seeing lag spikes on NA (East). Others in my games are reporting the same behavior. Haven’t seen any posts or tweets yet though.
It will be fine for a couple minutes in game, then my ping will shoot up to about 200ms (typically 40ms for me) and weird stuff happens for a couple minutes. Then this repeats.
I’m having exactly the same behaviour. And some other folks on Twitter are reporting the same but no official communication from Blizzard so far.
Same. I have 500 Mbps dl speed yet getting massive lag. I get booted from the game and then am suspended without the ability to reconnect. Like, I know you’ve given up on the game guys but the servers too?!?!

NJ here. Games were going from 40ms to 200+ms in the game match. Right now it’s trying to “update” the game in the launcher but always failing. Never had this problem since launch, only tonight.
Yeah, I just tried a few minutes ago and couldn’t even get in the game (this is also after being kicked twice in the last hour). No updates are attempting to run for me. Still no official word from Blizzard.
I just jumped in to the game and I got this strange network connect icon before the main menu loaded. Should’ve taken the hint before going into competitive, but the game was “mostly” okay. Fairly often, I would notice my character control was delayed and I definitely hit some lag spikes. I’m pretty sure it’s intermittent lag spikes but I wasn’t focusing on lag spikes…I just thought it was the servers.
I reset my net connection and that seems perfect. Used the battle.net client to scan the game files - though there was nothing to fix. Never had a single lag issue on fiber internet before so it’s got to be something fairly isolated.
It’s just as bad on console and we can’t just do a file scan. I’ve noticed though by testing in training range that the more actions being taken in game makes the ping higher like there’s an information overload, similar to a DDos attack. Standing still in range had my ping at 140-170
But while actively trying to move around and kill bots, the ping would spike significantly to 300+
Same, here. I’m in DC area. 200+ ms spikes.
I’m below you in VA, same issue. I made another thread about it so bump it up for blizz
North east US, also having trouble. Some games are fine, others have crazy ping/lag.
I’ve noticed that some matches proceed just fine, while others have major lag/spike issues. I tried switch to Europe, but that didn’t really do much.

--------------------I haven’t had any issues today after playing some games.
Can someone clarify WTF is going on? Crazy spikes from EU servers aswell. Warzone works just fine Valorant works fine Apex works fine stable ping at 52Ms. While in Overwatch the latency goes from 50 to 115ms every 4 seconds. I refuse to believe is my connection when in any other game is working perfect.
Keep in mind 1 week ago i even did a full reinstall of windows and re download everything cause of this exact issue and same thing is happening, I refuse to belive its just me
I just re install my realtek drivers and eveyrthing seems to work just fine right now hopefully im not gonna jinx it
