When they enemy team is Terrible, Hazard is great. When the enemy team is good, Hazard is not so great.

Anyone one else think this way?

The term for this is “win more” hero

It took people one day to figure out how to counter him. My win rate on him yesterday was 80%. Today I lost 10 games in a row. Most of those due to counters, but surprisingly 3 because of really bad Lifeweaver players on my own team.

Anyway today was much harder games with a lot more people actively countering him.

is there even a hero where this logic doesn’t apply?

My initial impression with hazard is he’s going to have a super high skill ceiling, and he’ll scale well with players who put the hours into understanding him- but he won’t be a tank you can just pick up and be effective with.

And that’s a good thing, outside of tank Doomfist a big criticism I’ve had with tank design is that they’re super accessible with low-medium skill expression.

I feel that way… About every hero in the game. If you are the favored team, you can troll and mess around and still dominate with relative ease. If you are the disadvantaged team, you could pour your heart and soul into the game and still have your dreams of a vaguely well balanced game crushed.

I never actually got to play a game with the better team. My only win was a nail biter where we cheesed a win on Clash. But I am sure it felt great. I do not even mind him too much from disadvantage to be perfectly honest. He is fun and satisfying. What else can you ask for?
