"[insert name] DIFF", "REPORT [insert name]", etc

The REAL reason why Overwatch fell off only cuz devs greed. They want to follow casuals and make more money from game. They don’t listen their players, they created the mess and trash that nobody appreciate. The only reason ov2 was so expected is PvE that devs showed so good and made for 3 years. But now PvE was canceled, stubs was trying to sold like it’s big game and now ov2 have the same fate like it was in the last days of Overwatch 1. Or rather it’ll have the fate HotS.
So, tell me, what’s the point to have ov2 now? If devs will bring back Overwatch classic, they just help players to leave hated ov2 and kill that game.

its just like vehicle driving.

Everyone is respectful of one another in public. The moment people jump into their cars, its GAME ON.

I drive semi tractor truck, I own a sports car, an SUV, a pickup and a few other fun little vehicles like a hybrid ev. and honestly the way people treat one another in such ways, is really bad.

“it is a society problem”.

1 ) Do not pull out infront of others if you cannot speed up within the given distance that they will catch up to you at.

  • As a trucker I experience this, slowing down a tractor trailer is not easy and many people wonder why they get rear-ended by a semi truck. Slack adjusters and brake chambers are NOT instant.

2 ) Maintain the speed limit of the road. instead of thinking a person can drive a slower “comfortable speed” and not care about impeding the flow of traffic. Especially in construction zones which have 1 lane.

3 ) people that want to occupy their time on their cell phone instead of focusing on the road.

I’ve come across too many times a cell phone user almost ate the front grill of a kenworth w900 while talking on their cell phone, on a 2-lane highway coming at my truck.

4 ) Everyone sees a red sports car and they want to tailgate it, and instigate a street race.

its no different here in Overwatch. we have a problem, a society problem.

That sounds terrible. I am so sorry that happened to you. It sounds truly awful. I could never handle that in Overwatch and I am very glad nobody speaks like that to me because it scares me.

Overwatch has always been toxic. If anything, the game is significantly less toxic than it was years ago.

A game like this is bound to have toxic players. It can never be truly solved

Usually it’s a team diff, but in a lot cases, it really is a single player diff and if they get called out, perhaps they should just take their medicine and accept that it’s true and get better.

Yes, I’m sure that’s why people say “[blank] diff”: to encourage the worse player to get better.

It’s these attitudes that thrive, thus continuing the cycle of poor sportsmanship.

Just play something else. At least CoD has a PvE mode that’s actually entertaining and counts toward the battle pass. Makes it so nice to avoid the trolls out here that enable one another.

Unless something drastically changes, Overwatch is likely to go the way of Heroes of the Storm.

Oh there probably would be toxicity. The difference is that it’d end real quick because the offended party would smack the living daylights out of the toxic knobhead. I know i would.

That’s a self control issue. I get frustrated all the time but i don’t open chat or press push to talk when i do.

Then again, i only report slurs ang actually insulting stuff.

Someone types “diff” i usually expect them to be the reason we lost. The loudest ones are usually the worst performing ones.

Perhaps because they have already tilted themselves and are soft throwing.

How common is trash talk in higher ranks? I peaked Diamond early on in OW1 but currently Bronze in OW2. It feels like players are more aggressive in my current ELO.

You being scared it’s hard to imagine :face_with_monocle:

Who could have known that having to rely so much on your teammates would make other people bitter when they suck. Especially having to deal with premade groups in a casual environment, as a solo player, with other solos.

Well, of course. But do you dare point out how they have 10 deaths in 2 minutes because then you’ll learn it’s because you don’t peel for them or heal them.

There are enough trolls in Mystery heroes who just jump off the map when they get a hero they dont want to play or just purposely die to roll another

The community is to blame for some aspects for sure but this is not really one of them lol.

The only reason people act like that is because of the matchmaking pairing really good players with really bad players.

I look forward to seeing people trash talk, be it towards me or others, my team or the enemy’s team; it’s usually pretty easy to psychoanalyze the root of their actions and react in a way that probably makes them either cry or reflect on themselves.

Like I said “extremely low compared to QP/comp”

Are there trolls? Sure.
Are there a lot less than other game modes?
Definitely.

When was the last time you played MH?
If you kill yourself, you respawn as the same character.

I’m pretty sure most people have done that at one point or another.

But like I said, the number of trolls/toxic people is much lower.

Sounds like someone let their team down lol.
Learn to take a little banter.

There’s a big difference to a bit of banter and being repeatedly attacked in multiple games by the same person.
