No, they answered full on that they believe she is fine. They have acknowledged the feedback received and disagree with said feedback. They have answered.

Have they said Mercy’s design is engaging and that Valkyrie has enough room for player expression? No, they limit themselves to say she’s balanced.

However, it does mean that subjective views in of themselves are not a solid foundation for making changes to a hero. The result of subjective view A vs subjective view B is a stalemate. Which means the only logical course of action is to include something of actual substance along with your subjective view to support it.

If that’s your take, we shouldn’t change anything whatsoever. Ladder issues? Subjective. Smurfing? Subjective? Toxicity? Subjective. Throwing? Subjective.

There’s ways to reason around subjectives issues.

Which I have yet to see even a single angry mercy player do. They base it entirely on the subjective feelings they have on it without backing it up with actual substance.

Valkyrie has been meta-defining broken, overpowered, nerfed 15 times and now it even has been buffed a little bit.
