The jist is you put a pig pen, a steel trap, and a concussion grenade in the same location and have hog hook someone in. I know I’m stretching the definition of “one shot a bit”, but it is somewhat accurate as in it kills incredibly fast and only the hook part requires any mechanical skill since they’re in the trap for the rest of it
Damage numbers. Once you have it set up then then if roadhog lands one hook and goes 1.25 seconds without being interrupted then
- hook: 5 damage
- pig pen: 97 damage
- steel trap: 100 damage
So that’s already 202 damage in the 1.25 second, most of the roster is already dead without anyone pressing a single button after landing the hook.
But here’s where it gets crazy
- concussion mine: 110 damage
- 2 roadhog shots: 400 damage (assuming 200 damage per shot, which is trivial since they’re in steel trap)
and now we’re at 712 damage, the entire roster is dead. Without any of your 3 teammates contributing any damage.
Is this a problem balance wise? Probably not. The bottom 90% of the ladder is too uncoordinated to even attempt this, and at the top 10% it means you’re stuck running junkrat and roadhog in a high rank lobby. And this isn’t factoring healing or that most tanks have some kind of ability to block roadhog’s follow-up shots. I just thought it was interesting
