You need a direct line of sight with the immortality field.
In this case you just threw it at the side of a wall and then walked to the other side of the wall. Yeah that removes the invincibility.
Just a tip you can look at your HP or hear when the effect goes away so you could easily identify if you’re within the field or not.

Then Blizzard needs to change that because it makes no sense, it’s supposed to be a bubble, like Winston’s that goes through walls.
Or at least remove the circle if its effect is no longer available.
It’s not supposed to be a bubble. It works the exact same as stuff like trancendence, biotic field, sound barrier - every similar effect requires LOS, and so does immo field.
I agree they should change the visual for all AOE abilities though.

You can hear it from the game it self man. “Inmortality bubble is down” when is destroyed.

I get you’re new and all and this knowledge is unknown at these levels but it’s just how it works and i doubt they are going to change it.

I even looked for the forums they didn’t even add that quote I said they didn’t even upload the audio files for his voicelines, when I expect them to do that.
I played duo with a friend in qp and told him to play baptiste and indeed he said it and I confirmed it:
“Immortality bubble is down, watch yourselves”
