Ingame mouse cursor issue

Hello!
Iam using a wireless mouse (logitech g403) to play. Sometimes i run out of battery while playing and i have to replug my mouse.

Everytime i do that i get the ingame mouse cursor stuck at my crosshair.
The only way i know to fix this is to restart the game.

Is there another way to fix this without restarting the game?

Hello Symjörn!

Issues with the cursor appearing on top of the crosshair are usually related to other programs in the background, particularly those with overlay functions. If you’re running, for example, Discord or Overwolf, please try exiting these programs (or disabling their respective overlay features).

It may also be possible to ‘refresh’ the game window by toggling the display mode. Go into the Options > Video menu and change the display mode back and forth (for example if you’re fullscreen, switch to windowed, apply, then switch back to fullscreen).

If you’re still having issues and aren’t able to pinpoint which program may be at root, we can try a selective startup, which will set aside all non-essential background programs.

Closing Background Applications

After rebooting into this mode, please retry running the Battle.net app and playing as you normally would.

Then if the game works correctly, you can refer back to the article for advanced steps on narrowing down which program is interfering.

Best of luck in your adventures

There are a TON of people experiencing this issue, myself included. I don’t have overlays running, and it only started happening with the Retribution patch. I played 2 games after the 6/26 patch and it’s back already. Please help us!
