I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve seen a surge of MK users on Xbox. I’m not upset about that (since they all seem to be widow players that can be easily countered with a shield and a sniper of our own). What I am upset about is that their reflexes are faster than the max turning speed built into the game.
Since I got the game near release, I’ve always been critical of the turning speed but let it go since we’re all subject to it; but now I say that a speed increase is a necessity to compete with the surge of MK users. It’s evident that Blizz can’t really do anything about this since it’s outside of their jurisdiction. It would need to go through live’s reporting system, but they can always just come back after the ban or make a smurf. If you can’t really do anything to stop them, then at least give controller users the speed to fight it.

I got a message saying someone was actioned against I enjoyed it because I report anyone I suspect of mouse and keyboard.

I’m at max, but they can still turn faster. That’s why this issue irritates me.

Try a different aiming technique
Doesn’t matter if they can turn faster no matter what my options are. I even play with no aim assist settings, yet my reflexes are still not as fast.

I’m starting to see an increase of Widows with Mkb. Feels great to kill them and crouch on them with my big Roadhog butt. Smell the pig.
But it’s starting to become an huge problem overall though.

100/50 sens, 95 aim smoothing.
Overwatch has been the only fps game I’ve ever seen to offer the amount of control settings available. Use them.
KBM converters are still limited to the same turn speed as controllers because they are still seen as controllers sending controller signals. They literally cannot turn faster.
I just posted about this as well, I was thinking aim acceleration could help on Console to combat that problem with turn speed.

Then couldn’t a solution be to just flat out have a limit on turn speed. Not just for console, but PC too, like world of tanks. Then, everyone is truly on an even footing.
You could achieve the same result by…I don’t know…giving us a faster turning speed? Not just to combat MK users. It could also give console users the speed to deal with high mobility targets that aren’t a threat on PC, but tend to be stronger on console.
3rd party devices are still limited to the games max turning speed or in-game sensitivity. So turning on analogue at max sensitivity is the same as moving your mouse with a 3rd party device at max speed. so increasing sensitivity would only make m/kb on console better…
But mobility heroes would benefit from the increase too, making them harder to hit. Slowing them down makes them less of a threat, across all platforms.
It’s just the turning speed. It wouldn’t be an increase to their overall speed.
Someone find me that clip of Mercy spinning so fast, Widow can’t hit her.
