i wanna see increase avoid team to 10 players. and for it to be a full avoid… not trough the week but for the rest of the life. becos there is nothing being done with the toxic players… racists. i wanna avoid those kinda players for eternety and not have a chanse to encounter them again 2 weeks later. and with increasing the numbers i dont have to choose betwen, racist players, toxic players, or players who cant perform with the hero they choose. cus i always end up avoiding the toxic and racist once… and gets stuck with those who cant perform and gets them several times on my team. so blizz please increase numbers from 3 to 10. so that i can que up and actualy have a good time playing competetive

Avoid teammates is useless in my opinion. When I avoid people I never see them again with some exceptions.
Sure I could easily find 10 avoids per Day but at that point they already harmed my winrate and SR.

I’m convinced it’s there to troll me at this point. I avoided an Ana who held nano for 4 minutes and never used it. Next game I kid you not another Ana does the same thing. Why do I never get to play against these Anas? Also in the past I had similar issues with getting the exact same type of player(s) I avoided on my team again the next game.

this is what triggers me to. and i cant even avoid these most of the time. cus sudently the first game of the week i have some kid who screams into voice, blaming and flaming people the first min and continues to do so the entire match so ofc i avoid him. then next game i get the bad zen or ana who holds their ult for the entire match… then next round there i get a kid who is 100% racist and angry. i mean is it so difficult for blizz to clean up their game?. if your toxic and name call people… insta ban… racist insta ban. it isnt that difficult. then we can use avoid players to use only for those who purposely work against you in a game
If you have that big of a problem with randos, join a team or turn off the chat ffs.

so i have to rank up to get rid of the toxic people… the racist people?. pretty sure they are at every rank there is. all i need to do is turn on a stream from any overwatch league player and you will see quickly people being jerks… this is a massive problem gamewise cus blizz dont act with big hard punishments. the rank dosent have a say in it as you can meet this kinda people at every rank… all you need to do is mess up once and they will make you hear of it the rest of that match and the next if you get them on the ennemy team or yours…
It is an option, you don’t have to do anything, I did it and it helped, so, just a suggestion/advise, you will get nothing more reasonable than this one here =)
Also I remember I’ve played naturally at low elo like silver-gold-plat, I can barely remember some issues you’ve described, mb I just don’t give a big F about R and N words etc. But I rank up to get overall better teammates and better games which I am cappable to handle aswell. When you rank up, the quality of everything increases logicaly, so, less toxicity, rasism, stupid plays etc.
I think you’re overreacting, the main issue is be worried about what others talking or trashtalking, when u have mute and report option.
If you want real comparison of unbearable behaviour, go play some cs 1.6 on publick server, they will tell you many things about your relatives your race, they do it so consistent, that sometimes you start thinking they all know you better than yourself =)

Mute the toxic/racist ones, you can even hide the chat with CTRL + SHIFT + C if they are typing things that are negatively impacting your game. Since you can now see your team’s Ultimate charge now at any time, you don’t really need the text chat anymore like you used to in the past.

They said they would increase slots if it wouldn’t affect queue’s… well they haven’t so it’s safe to assume they would.
As you reported in your thread Facesmasher, it mainly shows you’re encountering Toxicity/Racists which is related to chat based incidents.
These can be reported of course like any other violation of the Code of Conduct and it will have a better effect on the community.
Of course enabling more slots for the community to use can prove to be helpful for users, though knowing the effect it will have on the queue’s prove to be quite bad.
Since these are related to chat it can be avoided quite easily since they don’t have a direct impact on the gameplay itself but the social features.
I’d recommend you make use of the mute feature in this case.
You’ve also mentioned you encounter players who don’t perform well is not directly a violation by rules.
This is why we have the avoid slots, it’s up to you whether or not you want to avoid them. Though do note since that this is not a direct rule violation it will have less priority, therefore in my opinion i think it’s not the best reason to expand the slots due to it not being bad as defined in the rules.
Only if there were to be an increase in throwers or hackers it might prove to be more useful for the community.
