Inconsistent aim

Hi all,

I having a major issue, i am rather inconsistent. Some games i can play really really well, example some games i can do 55-60 mcree aim where i just land most of my hits regardless of distance. Or widowmaker 60+ accuracy or hanzo 45%. However, other times i cant land a single hit on anything.

Its really frustrating because on a good day i think i can stay in diamond and hold my ground other days i feel like im playing against GMs, ( no gold, silver or bronze medals at all and feel like i am the reason we lost ) On a good day its different, few games against masters when i was around 3300 i can dominate and make them switch to counter me.

Any tips how to become more consistent ? I practice everyday in training bots. I think once get that consistency i can stay in diamond comfortably. Cant describe and stress enough how frustrating it is.

Thanks

Story of my life. A lot of things factor into consistency. Like did you sleep well last night? Has it been more than 3 hours since your last meal or snack? Are you in a good mood/relaxed? All these things can affect your aim.

Are you aiming with your wrists?
If so, then that’s probably why.

Look into input lag. Might be the solution to your issues.

well i play on 1080ti, 64gb ram with 240 hz monitor and all settings on low so i can get 240 fps. Its not input lag.

my dpi is 400 and in game sense is 8. I aim with my arm

thats weird. ive been using wrist aiming since i started playing on PC

Lol you realize that’s more of a personal preference thing and there’s no real data showing that low sens+arm aim will always perform better than medium-high sens+wrist aim, right?

one tip i can give you as a t500 player, you don’t just want to rely on your physical aim, you can also improve positioning and the way you take engagements to make lining up shots easier and such. if you can position and make good decisions consistently then you’ll inevitably end up landing more shots along side that. besides that its just playtime and practice
