You take this game too seriously.
FOr a reason, most pro players only stream comp like 1 or 2 hours while they are trio or duo que.
Rest of the time, they are watching vods, or cheater clips or plyaing quick play.
That is for a reason.
Stop givin this game so much of your life. come to quick play.
to see people throwing? play vs gm making the gaame unfun? play vs smurfs there too? daaam canāt wait dude.
wich isnāt possible. because vs smurfs you canāt play and with the idiot onetricking doom you canāt do teamplay

Make 3-5 alt accounts, as soon as you feel like one is getting the matchmaker treatment switch. Some accounts get shafted all season some take a few days to off set. One will feel like you could be making a sandwich and still win, the other you will be literally jesus christ walking on water and still loose. Just the way blizzard wants to pad their player numbers I guess. At this point itās either be the frustrated player suffering or be the one blizzard wants to make feel good. My sanity has improved a lot since accepting this as the state of overwatch and just switching accounts if the matchmaker wants to play stupid games.
Have you tried to start an alt account and try your hardest in new placements?
Theres a theory that the hidden mmr doesnt want to budge. So if you have many hours from years ago when you were crud, those old bad stats in your mmr are weighing you down.
But to me, it looks a lot like the activliz matchmaker patent. Where Veteran players are matched with new players to keep the newbies playing and spending.
Theres many cases ive seen where players have one old account that seem to get matched with braindead teammates in most games. Then they have newer alt accounts where they are matched with competent teammates and have a much higher winrate.
Check this video out for possibly the biggest example of this.
Top 500 player. One of guys main accounts is hard stuck low masters getting deadweight teammates. His alt account has like a 90% winrate where he practically gets carried into gm 4. Itās effortless.
That is something not good happeneing with the matchmaker. Wether its intended or not. I think most gms subconsciously know this but are unwilling to consciously accept it. Because most gms have alt accounts and they play between several accounts. Just an assumption.
Are there any gms in the forums that play on only 1 account, have no alts, and that account is several years old back from ow1 days? Would be good to get some more data from gms who dont have alts.
Check the video out, and also read the comments in it. Many people seeing the same thing happening.

several things to note in that video
again he has SEVERAL accounts that ācanā climbā¦so his own account says its possible
the very account hes talking about was rank 1 according to him the previous season - so even the rigged account is not so rigged it would seem
does he keep playing past the point where he says he got in the video? cause it sounds like they played about 50 matches and stoppedā¦compared to 8 years on other oneā¦according to himā¦lets see where those end up in following seasons
he says OTHER tanks as though (and this is common) he plays particular heroes on specific accountsā¦explain to me why he should have the same exact rank on multiple heroes
like you can go on and on honestly (what part of season, did he do any grouping whatseover)ā¦
also you gotta love how UNIVERSALLY, any time someone is winning the teammates are amazingā¦but when you lose your teammates are crap (even though they probably appear on both teams throughout the process - my teammates are often my opponents in the next couple of rounds)
Yea makes sense you would rather chose to be on a 16 lose streak and dedicate 6 hours of your life and yet not accept that you are feeling miserable.

Except League of Legends and maybe Valorant, Overwatch has the worst case of āelo hellā weāve seen in some time.
There is such an over-reliance on spreading a winrate over giving us actual balanced matches.
I donāt know what kind of drama you wanna pull out dude, comp and qp are the same garbage, if I go qp and play vs a gm I just sit in spawn.
Elo hell definitely exists. Its a different level for everyone but it definitely exists
I can spend weeks/months at high plat/low diamond and then once i get past 3200 i literally shoot up to mid masters in a couple hours since all of a sudden I dont have literal bots afk every match

on comp its just like you are diggin a deeper hole, as you lose more games.

yes, in quick play there is a chance to get placed against Smurfs but that means nothing. you can stay in base and earn the report or you can try to improve sionce you dont lose anything.
Not sure what is so hard to understand. Comp is not balanced and a loss there just makes it worse.

Best thing is donāt take this game seriously. It is free to play, you have an easier chance being banned for saying poop in chat than you do for spin botting. The range of experience is so vast in metal ranks all it takes is one bad player to make it an easy 4v5. Play the hero you want and do your best or you will go insane lol
