Yea,I didn’t expect so many players to play…
but whats annyoing is that I was in the game,then I crashed and it made me wait all the way from 10000.

No, whats annoying is you finally get in to play a single game before it kicks you for “Unexpected Server Error”. Does this every big patch day/event.

I can’t even get in to play a game. I get Unexpected error after waiting at the 8000 people ahead of me mark, and then it logs me out, I have to log back in, and greeted to another 8000 people to wait on.
One would think with over a decade of experience, and 3 yrs of event experience like this in OW, they’d have it down by now.

You can’t really add servers because there’s a lot more players for one evening, that would be a pretty bad move financially speaking.

me too, like i get that servers are busy but thats annoying
I waited a full ten minutes in queue, only to get the unexpected server error message and be kicked back to the login screen.
Same. 8000 player queue and then an unexpected error once the queue goes away. Logs you out, 10,000 player queue when you log back in. No one I know can log in.
I went through 8000 people wait and it sent me back to the log in scree. womp womp
just went through 10k. server error… 10 again. honestly blizz how many times have they failed miserably with the server when new events get released.
i’ll do you one better.
i started my game, 7000 players ahead of me.
i patiently wait it out and after 15 minutes i get in game.
i check out the new items and queue up for quickplay.
find a game and get to match start.
then suddenly radom servers error, thrown out of game.
now 10000 players ahead of me.
I got in, opened my free lootbox and then got sent into an endless cycle of server errors.
No, but you could temporarily change out a handful of servers running other Blizzard titles which aren’t currently experiencing much traffic to run Overwatch for 12 hours.
