Except not in the shop itself… you have to go into the hero gallery and choose unlock. There is no option to purchase things separately from the bundle screen itself.
If this is a mistake then fine, but if not then it’s very much telling us that your company is trying to get away with AS MANY TRICKS as it can without actually breaking the law to get people to buy more things.
The game was better than this. The systems were better than this. So many things are being done to drive away the population that made this game popular and known.
EDIT: Oh nevermind there are somethings in bundles you STILL can’t buy separately. Like the clean sweep highlight intro.
Have a talk with your crew Andy. they are feeding you lies to tell us.
oh… “MOST”… … really?

Good start, now just make them affordable

I can feel how embarrassed AndyB was posting this nonsense…Nobody believes anything Blizzard say anymore.
I would love to say “because they have no idea what they’re doing” but they actually do, and thats the worst part
this is an improvement, but we need to keep talking about our discomfort with the skins prices, I still think that $10 is a fair price for a legendary skin but $20 is overpriced. the battle pass should also have the currency of the game just like Fortnite or fall guys.

$10 is not a fair price for any in-game cosmetic - ever.
$10 for a battlepass every season for a single year equates to the same value as buying the game outright. If that can’t keep indie-dev Blizzard above water, nothing can
You still cannot buy things separately in the bundle so I have no idea what exactly did you guys change.

I agree 100%. I bought battle pass thinking it was like COD where I would earn enough every season to get the next one. I wish they would just charge $60 for the game and be done with it.

Maybe y’all should make this more evident somewhere in the game, or are yall trying to obscure this change so people think they have to buy the bundle?
I hate being cynical but jfc, not even dead by daylight is this anti-consumer in their monetization.

It would be great if this addressed anything but the law breaking. What about the fake “sales” or general prices being way over in no thank you land.

How in the hell are there no coins in the battlepass, and there is a skin in the shop that is $37, are you guys trying to kill this game within 2 months?

Nice joke, now add back a way to incentivate player to play your game. You have to pay me to play your game and make it working in order to create an enviroment where whales can play and spend money. If the majority of the player base isn’t incentivited to play because you don’t pay them with anything, the game will die.

As long as prices come CLEAR down. I think it will be a better business model for the company.
But most important here is… Heroes NOT being locked behind Grind and pay walls.
Just in the context of “handshaking” I would say that players should be given the option to be awarded a certain amount of coins per match COMPLETED, regardless of a win or loss. That they can apply towards the skins in the store.
A player in-turn can say "well the match I am playing is bad, and leaving is an option, but at least If I get some coins to apply towards my next skin, I will keep playing the match. "
If players don’t want to spend that time. I’d say ‘yes’ to buying skins and cosmetics either in packs pricing or individual skins for dimes and nickles.
Just being familiar with “grinding” in a game and how WoW grinding worked. I think realistically a person only is willing to put up with grinding for a skin roughly 1 week per skin, on 2-4 hours of playing, per day. Max. Before they no longer care.
Its like Hunt showdown and their “event skins”. They do. By the end of the week nobody cares about the Costume anymore and don’t find it that exciting. Players this day in age, are not like us former WoW players that would run a dungeon 8-12 hours out of a day just to get MAYBE something we can use on our character.

Your shop is still severely overpriced.
There is zero incentive for players to keep playing.
This is the first event ever since OW1 launched that I have zero interest in getting skins or any event rewards when I used to be able to get them for free from continuously playing the game, that was the reward for players that played the game a lot.
I’m not spending a single penny in things I got for free as a reward for playing your game before

It’s because you’re being forced to comply with many countries “Discount” laws, isn’t it?

no you understand that it was illegal, and you were obligated to make this change.
just admit fault for once ffs

They totally did this because they realized what they were doing (marking items as x% off when the original item was not purchasable individually) was ILLEGAL in certain countries. Completely disappointed they haven’t dropped the prices overall significantly to equal what these DIGITAL NON-TANGIBLE ITEMS are worth.
