She just does. Attack heal beam & hide. That’s all she do.
Rez, and making allies die slower. that’s all.
She should be hanzo. more difficulty, more return.

My MMR dropped really low in quickplay recently because Ive been using characters I dont normally pick.
I Picked up Mercy earlier and had a blast buuuut- she is much less impactful the higher you climb from what I can tell.

Mercy doesnt heal anymore. She just makes things die slightly slower, then rezzes them
The dev team said they didn’t want a main healing hero to go off and stop healing for some amount of time, but now, its literally more time efficient to let a tank die and instantly rez them.
THAT to me, isn’t fun.

I agree with that. Res is not the part of her kit that I like anyway…
In fact, Mercy can be fun for some people. I still have fun when I play her. most of the time

I dont think that mercy is objectively unfun. I find her unfun but it s mostly how her current build shifts away from being a dedicated healer with hp juggling as her viable playstyle to being a pocket booster. Those that liked pocketing obviously wouldnt find her unfun now. Also due to the nature of a weaker healing giving value to other parts of her kit like damage boost, those that like battle mercy will also find the playstyle somewhat viable since battle mercy is akin to dmg boosting.

As long as I’ll be able to solo-heal with Mercy (wich I still am), I’ll have fun with her 
I just need smart enough teammates to not take useless damages…

People say she doesn’t take skill, but if you are damage boosting people at the right time it makes a huge difference. A hammond during pile driver, a roadhog during hook and shotgun. A rein can 2 shot a 200hp hero with swing and firestrike.
I enjoy mercy, and I’ve been playing her since season 1. Her ease of play allows you to narrate what’s happening during a game for your team.

Now that her ult doesn’t induce stress anymore which many Mercy players perceived as the “kick” in playing Mercy, people actually realize how dull she was for most people already.
Also please don’t take your opinion and state it as a fact. I still have a lot of fun playing Mercy, so do many others.
By having excellent target priority, by having good teammates that disengage when taking heavy dmg/ know how to utilize cover and proper positioning, by not having an Ana on the enemy team. I already successfully solo-healed a 3 tank comp a few times in QP, needless to say the Winston played exceptionally well and Zarya+Rein were in a 2-stack and very well coordinated, Hanzo didn’t need much healing and Tracer died a few times but that was her misplay.

I didn’t say it was easy, as you’re saying. But I’d rather have no other healers than a dps main trying to fill… Every player not playing healer is more dps for our team, and if they’re good, it’s definitely worth it.

yeah solo-healing with nerfed Mercy is not easy, but definitely doable, if you’re good enough.
I personally see it quite ironic ^^ lots of Mercy players told Genji and Tracer mains to get good or switch when Brigitte was introduced. Well same can be said about Mercy now. Either get good at target priority and reading your teammates or go switch to Moira or Ana.

Why are you saying that? Why was it just Mercy Mains? Guaranteed a lot more people than just “Mercy Mains” said that. Honestly, I couldn’t care less about a counter to genji or tracer more or less that Mercy has become garbage nerf after nerf of this “Successful rework”
