I have never met a polite Doomfist main. Do you guys actually exist? What is it with this hero that causes so many doom mains to be toxic? Sure every hero has toxic mains and some more than others (i.e. dva, mercy, genji etc.), but I’ve met polite hero mains from every other character. I really just want to play with a chill doom main

I’ve literally have only met one, he even said his hero is bull because he was getting slept by me, and still landing his RP on me. Even one time, he eve said he saw the sparks hit his face where the dart landed, and he ult’d instantly… While laying prone, which was funny, but then I died to his ult instantly. He even apologized for it and then swapped off, because in his own words “Felt bad for the bugs allowing him to survive things he should not.”

They exist, it’s just the stigma of the hero is so bad, anytime you get killed by one, you instantly think they’re a hole, but have no way of knowing for sure.

There’s 2 nice ones on the forums, being Jasonbent and Bakkusodo. Also, Egryn can be nice. So yeah they exist. But I notice as well a lot of them are really toxic.

I don’t mind getting killed by doom or any hero. What I do mind is my doomfist teammate verbally abusing our team because he thinks he’s a pro.

They play PC, I think? Im just a neglected console peasant lol. Oh well atleast PC seems to have a some polite dooms, so that’s nice

Are they on your team or against you? I’ll occasionally talk some smack in the match chat against a Cree player but I don’t talk trash in voice. Being toxic to your own team gets you no where and I’ll just mute the guy who’s talking a lot in voice/berating our own team.
I mean I am not surprised. In 2000 hrs, one would only met like an hours worth of them for how rare they really are. They play Doomfist, then like, “Nope, I’ll stop throwing and play somethign else”
My team. I don’t care about getting killed by doom he’s a high skilled hero. Its either my fault I died or I just got really outplayed and couldn’t do anything about it. What prompted this post was a doomfist on my team being so toxic and saying messed up stuff to our Orisa because she is LGBT. I started wondering if I ever met a nice doom main and I couldn’t recall. But people think highly of you and some others so there’s hope.

Just toxic kids mate, sadly they plague every online game hiding behind a screen makes people feel safe and their egos take over. I’ll just leave voice if my team is arguing since it kinda tilts me.

I met one once. I was on Mercy and he cornered me so I just crouched and walked backwards saying hello, then made a friendly spray between us
He showed me mercy (no pun intended) and ran off to fight someone else
