As I said I have been climbing with the attitude that I have. I don’t care about players that don’t want to try, they are not going to be able to climb. Yes there are games that turn into losses because you have a team that doesn’t work well together and that happens.
I’m telling you this because attitude is a major factor in climbing. An attitude that the game is not letting you climb accomplishes just that. You should stop being so hung up on the bad players at your rank and focus more on your own performance so you don’t end up as being one of those bad players.
It nullifies the chance of winning, not improvement. And I’ve clocked in alot of games already (though on an alt account, but even in Diamond and Masters… what the heck? Its like ranks matter less and less per season).
And yeah, I get messages telling me something’s been done about the person I reported. But, to quote myself:
Its just hot garbage… and now I’m feeling it in actual NA servers (because Blizzard thinks its a bright idea to put Southeast Asia in the Americas region [which explains why we get a higher ping on the actual Asia region] and put an Americas region-assigned Singaporean server) when I use my VPN. What the hell?
You say that, yet I’m stuck. Its the sheer population of them just polluting the playerbase. Not everyone’s experience is the same, but I do wish my experience with the game isn’t overly dominated by getting queue’s and repeat queue’s with players who want to lose… even if they are in a completely different rank entirely, but end up in my games. I try to not focus, but they seem to just wanna step their game up.
I play at basically 11pm to 3am weekdays. The problem appears to be that its no longer an age bracket, but more of an age maturity matching the amount of care they give to trying to win.
I’ve tried playing around that time and you will notice as the games are great in the beginning, you’ll start getting the Koreans (that don’t cooperate) into your games in the end. It’s also prime time for people not performing that great because they’re tired. If possible, try switching to a couple hours earlier and ending around 1AM. I felt that after around 1AM, it gets pretty bad. But again, it’s Spring Break. I’d wait until that ends or play on an alt if you have one.
I’ve been playing at those times at roughly since the start of Season 4. Experience was great, I didn’t care there was a time I was in Gold because I ended up having more teammates who gave a d&&n and try to win than throw the game (a loss I can take, just not when its a loss because someone said “f&&k it, I think its funny when my teammates are mad as heck”). But ever since Season 7, I don’t know anymore. With “Avoid Player” working on teammates in PTR, limited to 2, someone in the forums mentioning it would be raised to 5… come on.
I think what would really help is that I’m pretty sure that for every region, there are “sub-regions” and I’m pretty sure the concurrent player count is atleast in the tens of thousands per “sub-region”, so I’m pretty sure my (both hidden and visible) elo/SR matches with hundreds of others that the server knows I haven’t played with… why not match us with them? Like, spread it out. Maybe that’d help… because alot of the times, the ones I end up getting matched with are players I’ve blocked and reported, alot of them the system said “thank you for reporting this guy” and what not, and even if I was in Diamond and they have a Gold badge (at the time) already (I end up double checking my teammates to see if I blocked them yet or not), it just sucks that they end up being on my team… again… What the hell?
