The new competitive borders and their styles have been appreciated but i think they stand to use a few improvements and i’d like to give a few pitches for tweaks and maybe additions
1a. With the current competitive style borders, if you have to keep the blue hexagon, try adding a gradient from top to bottom from blue to whatever color the rank border is, i think this might make it a more natural extension of the blue hexagon rather than the border being tacked on
1b. instead of that what about ditching the blue hexagon and changing it to something reminiscent of the old border system, a more higher fidelity border that can accomodate those unique rank logo designs around the border.
on the topic, it would be appreciated if there was a border system for quickplay, using the modern day leveling systems badge designs as a base. I’m level 699 at the moment but the cool looking hexagon badge that comes with it is basically useless. this would be a way to revive the old system while also doing something new.
Things not related to direct gameplay i would also pitch is a different method of handling the menu music, as if you go through any menu whatsoever the music will loop back to the start. This is very frustrating to listen to when browsing alot of menus aswell as not being able to hear the whole music track. A system like pausing and unpausing the current placement of the track or having it continuously play in the background would be a welcome change.
That is all for now, hopefully a member of the development team may see and consider these options.
