whenever i do placements it doesn’t matter if i win every game or lose every game (I’ve done both) i get placed in high gold. then I will win 2 games and lose 5-6 then I will climb back up until I get to where I placed. then lose lose lose. I have played since the BETA and stopped playing the last 2 seasons. started up again this season. and the same old BS over and over again. the game gets old when you can’t progress. I doubt it has anything to do with skill because when I lose the games after climbing, I get placed in games with people who quit half way through or don’t help players out. and it seems like its done on purpose. So if I grind and grind all season to get out of gold, I will just lose my placement next season and will be stuck doing the exact same BS next season. The game has quickly went from my all time favorite game to a waist of time.
I hear she has a real hourglass figure
I for the most part sit in gold too, but I have been able to climb out a few times!
So, it’s not impossible. Either you’re not improving or you aren’t dedicating enough time to grind up your rank. Skill decay is a thing, and you gotta play on a regular basis if you want to improve.
I myself have started watching streamers, and I learn a lot from them. Give them a shot! Keep grinding, keep practicing, but most importantly keep learning, man!
Remember.
Its never your fault.
Not impossible, I did it a few seasons ago.
Look on improving yourself. You have probably learned a LOT of bad habits that you dont even realize.
The second you have the mentality of “I can’t” you wont.
Look up videos of how to improve, watch coaches, and post your vods for people to review. I bet youre doing stuff you didnt even realize was bad.
I hear she has a real hourglass figure
This is the first forum masterpiece of 2019.
Did it last season. To diamond. There is hope.
It’s a common misconception that if you just keep playing, you will keep climbing, but it doesn’t really work like that. Time doesn’t equal skill, skill comes from first realising your mistakes, and then taking the right steps to correct them. Players who keep climbing are those who are capable of carrying their team in one way or another, for the majority of their matches. If you keep climbing and dropping repetitively, it most likely means you’re in the rank you’re suppose to be, in relation to your current skill level.
I will tell you a secret.
You only progress when you get better and only then.
This isn’t some sort of RPG leveling system.
Play DPS and only DPS.
That’s what I did and I was successful.
Also, bear in mind, in isn’t until you get to high Masters where things start to get remotely better. Maybe you know that but just keep that in mind.
This also isn’t a single player game like super smash bros where only what you do has impact on you succeeding.
It’s a team game. If your team doesn’t have impactful game sense, then your only chances of winning are the enemy team being even worse.
Only after platinum ( or was it diamond ? ) that individual performance is no longer considered.
Individual performance rates you against every other person in that division, not just your team and enemy team.
So if you actually deserve to be above gold, you will get there.
I climbed to plat just by doing my placements every season. The first few seasons of comp were definitely BS, though, since the game would deliberately place you lower than you belonged, so you would feel accomplished when you climbed a few hundred SR.
This made me laugh for no reason…
I got placed in gold once and i climbed out so I think you might be the problem
Learn what heroes work for you and what doesn’t. I started at 2100. Healer and Tank doesn’t work for me. Played mostly Ashe. Now I’m at 2400. No one likes one tricks but me one tricking Ashe is the only way I’m climbing.
