Literally Every Match.
if it’s not a leaver, it’s a >100 account dominating the entire match. Like, is it too much to ask for a hint of quality control? Not allowing people to select “leave match” in comp would be a start, let alone something smart like tying phone numbers to accounts…

Had the same experience till I switched to open que. Seems a lot more chill and there were skilled players sure but I didn’t notice any smurfs at all. Went from stressed to having fun again.
Literally?
So you can provide objective proof of this happening sequentially over a session?
Cool, by commenting on this thread I’ll now get the notification when you post the video proof on this thread…and considering this happens to you literally every game, I won’t have to wait long for you to post the proof…you will won’t you…?

4 games in a row where a smurf has carried, last game we had 5 accounts all under level 100 and names such as SoloQMaster. I wouldn’t say your first account on OW would be called something like that.
This game is turning into complete garbage, make it F2P already so we can all just start trashing lower SR games to make us feel good.

I still dont get why people think that would even do something.
Its pointless change in menu to separate it from one in other modes, and that will be all that would do.
It won’t stop everyone from quitting, but it might dissuade a few people from leaving if leaving means having to force close Overwatch entirely. Of course, then they could just sit afk until the game kicks them anyway, so it wouldn’t actually change much. People who are willing to hit that leave button are probably just as willing to get kicked for afk.

If you want to stop leavers from impacting a match, you have to give the leaver less impact, either through backfill, bots, buffs, or one of the dozens of other suggestions players have come up with. The devs, and most of the players, believe the way it is now is the best solution, so that’s why leavers have so much impact in matches.
No amount of punishments or hidden menus will stop trolls and ragers from spiting their team by forcing a 5v6 (soon to be 4v5, imagine if the tank leaves). Either way, it’s not hard to troll without leaving or breaking any rules.
And would you believe me if I did? Or would u sit and nitpick every aspect of the words “smurf” and “throwing” till both the meanings and the video meant bubkus.
So yeah, I’m gonna save both of us time and my ssd space and just not do that.
There are solutions for smurfing but Blizzards has chosen not to implement any of them.
They can do phone authentication or use Tinman. Api which would lock 1 account per computer.
