It’s not even a secured kill on zen or ana, two of the slowest supports without a get away button.
What if Doomfist’s ult were a self nano and lowered his cooldowns a bit? Call it “The Best Defense” is an overwhelming offense.
And how would one make it better without making it a guaranteed kill?
I said it’s worse at securing kills, never said it was worse overall.
Luckily we have stats for that. Number of kills by ult:
Doom: 2.27
Tracer: 2.76
McCree: 3.20
Bastion: 3.21
Hanzo: 3.46
Torb: 4.20

Probably because Hanzo’s lingers and can at least catch someone off guard if they don’t know where it’s coming from and get caught in it, as well as the fact it usually doesn’t get Hanzo killed for using it for kills.
But Doomfirst also has guaranteed value. Even if he doesn’t kill, he still gets health if he hits an enemy, or he can use it as a get out of jail free card. So they’re similar in that regard.
Doomfist’s ult is a bit like Wraith Form, if it stunned Reaper at the end

Imagine if Reapers ult, called death blossom, where he screams “die, die die”, on a hero nicknamed the angel of death while being literally called Reaper, wasn’t cancelled by 95% of the basic abilities in the game.
Atleast dooms is good for something, best get out of jail freecard ever or engagement tool.

I don’t think I have seen a Doom ult to actually try and kill people. It comes down to 3 cases most of the time:
You are losing or getting aimed by the enemy team, you ult to run.
You are winning, you don’t ult.
You are stomping them the entire game, than you ult to mock them.
I am more trying to imagin beying a lad. THAT would be interesting 
U need to combo it with CC ults, its a bit like hanzos dragons
They will buff him and then when the patch comes out he will recieve a random big nerf like 2 of the talon babes so far

It’s not even that good at ult kills either. Doing on a grav is 50/50 whether it’ll hurt everyone as long as a shield tank is there. Dragon is 100% guaranteed.

What would you suggest for his ult? A rework? Buff?
