I wouldn’t really have a reason to complain other than hackers or flagrant toxicity. I wouldn’t be hopping games. I would recommend this game to people instead of “I’d probably stay away, its more of a hassle than its worth.”
How did Jeff Kaplan screw this game up so bad?

Because they decided to go with whatever would make people spend the most time and money. I have to buy a smurf account to be put in the right rank. A JOKE. Why not start over EVERY season.

I think you’re making a chicken out of a feather. Yes people who play this game can be the worst. Yes they can completely ruin and steal 30 minutes of your time in one match.
But they are no cow on ice. It’s the price the community bears together. And through unity can we overcome this crisis?
In these trying times It is hard to be certain of much other than that this was then and that was now.

Are you seriously saying that you bought a Gold rank account and actually paid extra for it instead of just buying a new copy of game ~20€ ? Or what ever this game cost these days…

Because then you’d be complaining about that fact that the start of every season you have to deal with constant GM players ruining all of your games.
Then, mid season a bunch of people come back from being inactive and now you’ve stabilized but there’s a sudden influx of GMs and Bronze players, conveniently with the GMs on the enemy team and the Bronzes on yours, and so now you’re losing constantly because Blizzard is seeding players into your matches when they don’t belong there.

It wasn’t Jeff, it was some suits at the top that came up with the idea to force 50% matchmaking so bad players feel better about themselves, stick around longer, and buy more lootboxes. And then the mid level players who are stuck with the aforementioned group will see the $20 price tag to escape and pay without question. And then the third group, the truly skilled players, will shill and say “just climb bro” because they want to feel justified being the big fish of an ever shrinking pond. Honestly it’s pretty genius and im sure made them an obscene amount of money. Only thing you can do is recognize this fact and move on to a better game

Its advertising matchmaking. GG.
The acual truth that the blizzard shills deny to this day despite the patterns being out there and the same thing happens in CoD warzone. Extra crisp is the fact that just like in OW the best players face cheaters more consistently in CoD, coz duh the SBBMM can not separate cheaters from legit players. Worst part of it in OW is thou you still have SR and ranks to grind which causes a completely different experience for people at the same rank coz SBBMM is running behind the scenes adjusting team MMR.

They already seed players into matches where they dont belong because they allow & will not sort the scumbag smurf issue so there would be any problem we dont already have

I have imagined it ever since they announced it. Too good to be true. Still waiting to experience such a thing. Not holding my breath though.

I literally can’t wait until starlink forces competitive global internet provider competition…having the choice to play asia with low latency…oh it’s not even a debate. I’d live on that server.
