we know she got cybernetic augmentations, for what? to turn her into a hacking machine or do her gloves do the hacking.
I’m guessing she’s just a hacking machine, with or without gloves.
more importantly, are her nails real? I’m guessing not and they’re just on her glove. but why, why can’t she just have fingerless gloves if she wants to have cool nails?

I think she needs those augmentations which run through her clothes (and body?) to hack people.
Whatever she does, she creates some sort of field (like those projected keyboards) or hacks with direct physical contact.
Maybe she can also control these things with her brain…
Anyway, she seems to be able to target the things she wants to hack. In the game she is only able to shut things down (I don’t think hacking health packs is something canon. No idea how this would work to let a machine create something real more frequently with an infinite source of materials and energy).
It’s just like Zen’s Orbs. They don’t actually work in the Lore, at least against other heroes it doesn’t work. It’s just a gameplay thing. At least that’s what I think
that could work. I always thought her cybernetic enhancements were made to make her into a literal hacking machine and her clothes just make her hack go through them/how she creates her EMP.
