Doesn’t matter what role I play, what I try, what mode I play, what I do, I swear to god I’m losing about 90% of matches since about 2 weeks ago. It’s like my account is cursed and I’m put into teams that have a significantly lower chance of winning every single time.
I also keep getting teams that scatter all over the place and won’t group up, immediately blow up the instant a teamfight starts, charge in 1v5, anger swap to a character to throw the match, etc.
I know what people are going to say. “You are the only constant between all your matches so it’s only your fault”.
Even if I was the worst player in every single one of these matches, losing this often still doesn’t make sense. This is also QP so it’s impossible for me to be the worst every single time.
I’m not throwing, I want to win, I’m trying to win but it feels impossible almost every time.
I swear to god something sketchy is going on here.
Try create a new alt account and see how that goes.
Honestly I think I’ll do that just to see.

Yeah as much as many here will deny it, some accounts do seem to get ‘cursed’ with endless bad teammates.
A top 500 player, GreedOW on youtube has some videos explaining his experience with it.

It is influenced by your MMR relative to your rank. In other words, if your performance does not correlate to a specific winrate, the game will give you dead weight to carry or teammates that can handle your weight.
I am not sure if it some weird anti-smurfing measure or what, because I actually managed to break the curse by normalizing my winrate and/or my MMR and get balanced games, at least on tank.
My support is so laughable that I am ranked higher on my alt while literally trolling the game. The curse is real. DPS is the opposite. I just slaughter kids effortlessly while deranking. That’s pretty unreal too.
I am just a pretty unique individual and the algorithm has no idea what the hell to do with me. Reinhardt (and Gangsta Rap) saved me. Without him, I would be in prison.

nah i believe you. my account is also stuck in elo hell (had 65-70% winrate 100 games and kept deranking from plat 1 to plat 4 xd) - mind you i was consistently winning 3-4 games then losing 1-2 and it would invalidate every game won

Aye I created another account just to chill in the beginning of OW2 when I am hard stuck with this account and I was placed Gold I after the placement matches.
Still playing that account sometimes and is currently Diamond. But then not much changes in terms of users around you. Still the same chaotic dumpsters as well.
Guess we all should just… chill.

Exactly. The matchmaking is the matchmaking. I cannot tell the difference between silver or diamond myself. I have been all across the spectrum and they all play the same. Perhaps you escape this hell once you rank up to master, but that’s not in the cards for muah.

The thing is this is all QP (changed title to make that more clear). Which varies widely in skill ranges, so this shouldn’t be happening there especially.
Yep, game is out to make sure you lose 90% of your matches and everyone else wins 90% of theirs, is probably my guess
